Stop-offs on our Arabian cruising packages
Set sail on the twinkling Arabian Gulf, and enjoy the delights our luxury liners have to offer, with family-friendly entertainment, a variety of delicious food and drink options, and relaxing spa facilities; while we take you on a tour of the gulf.
UAE
Leaving and arriving in Dubai, you’ll be able to experience everything the city has to offer, like a mini staycation, from the luxury malls to the impressive marina, and the white sand beaches. You’ll also get to visit Abu Dhabi on our four-night and above cruises, where you can spend time at the Guinness World Record-breaking theme parks on Yas Island, and discover the contrasting architecture, from the majestic Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, which just so happens to be the largest mosque in the country, to the futuristic feel of Capital Gate.
Oman
Get a flavour of our Oman holiday packages, with several of our cruises stopping off at Muscat and Khasab. Nowhere offers a fusion of culture quite like Muscat does, with its cutting-edge architecture nestled in between traditional mosques, all surrounded by a backdrop of dramatic volcanic mountains.
Situated on the tip of the Arabian Gulf, Khasab is often referred to as the ‘Norway of the East’, and you’ll soon see why, due to its rocky cliffs. Make sure you spend some time visiting the castle during your stop-off, or head to the many diving and snorkelling spots.
Bahrain
Our MSC Arabian Gulf cruise includes a stop-off in Bahrain, where you can see the imposing 50-storey tall World Trade Centre, which houses a hotel and luxury mall; as well as shop for spices and perfume at Manama Souq, or, if relaxation is on the cards, spend the day swimming and sunbathing at Al Jazayer or Karbabad beaches, both of which are free to use.
Qatar
Visit Qatar’s capital on a selection of our cruises, and uncover the beauty of Doha. Start at the Corniche, a seven-kilometre stretch of promenade that’s lined with pretty parks, and a selection of cafes and restaurants. Head to the Museum of Islamic Art and National Museum of Qatar, before spending some time in the Qanat Quartier, with its intricate canals and pastel buildings resembling Venice.
